    The selectee will serve as Investigative Systems Program Manager (Cyber Systems) in the Office of Investigations, Criminal Investigative Division. Typical work assignments include:

    • Develops and implements procedures and processes to streamline and improve operations; continually assesses Investigative processes and tools performance and customer service; and take appropriate steps to ensure that the interests of the Service are considered as paramount at every phase of the investigative process.
    • Utilizes a variety of technological applications, software, and hardware to ensure that protective and investigative personnel are able to scale up or down the technical capacity to conduct sensitive, covert, and remote operations utilizing a suite of cyber tools and technologies.
    • Manages operational activities associated with the field of cyber investigations; understands, communicates, and ensures operations are performed in accordance with agency and federal policies governing the use of tools and investigation field.
    • Adept at articulating to personnel within the USSS; other Federal Agencies and Departments; and State or Local Law Enforcement entities the use, availability, technical specifications, and ideal deployment environment for technological tools and resources available to conduct investigations.
    • Studies the investigative processes within the Service and accurately advises or proposes investigative solutions to improve investigative procedures, maximize mission accomplishment and investigative resource utilization. Develops innovative solutions to identified investigative processes, ensuring solutions are cross utilized and or connected to other investigative solutions.
